Alum from NC

Post by KG4NEL »

Hey all!

I'd heard about this place from Reddit - either r/Jeep or r/Wrangler. I'm an '09 BIT-OSM grad, although I'm going back to school in NC for another two degrees in healthcare by the time I'll be done (total career change at 30, yay!). I make pretty frequent trips back to B'burg, though.

Picked up this in May:

68K on the clock. I've added 10K more.

Little summer B'burg trip (Butt Mountain, Giles County):

Portsmouth Island, NC - they lied about the water depth

What the bumpers look like now - from a recent 1500-mile road trip to Martha's Vineyard, MA:

Chappaquiddick Island, MA:

I love four doors:

Hope to run into some of you guys around Tech some day! Anyone going to be around during Thanksgiving?

Looks like you've had some fun all around in it. I like the bumper.

I don't have a picture of the rear one yet, but it's a matching ARB. The stock plastic ones were unbelievably thin, no good for recoveries.

Winch will have to wait until next spring

Welcome!

Where were you in Martha's Vineyard? I go almost every year with family to Oak Bluffs and know the island well.

My folks have a timeshare in Edgartown - I'm parked across the street from it in the photo with the flags.

But I went everywhere from Chappy:

to Aquinnah:

Happy to see the jeep is getting used! Any pretty pic is always more beautiful with a jeep in it.
